PostgreSQL
Connect PostgreSQL to Doram.
Available.
Doram reads your PostgreSQL schema, column types and relationships with a read-only user. It never writes to your data. Connect a source walks through setup, including how to create the user.
Connection details
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Host | Your database's address |
| Port | Usually 5432 |
| Database | The database to read |
| Username, Password | The read-only user |
| Require SSL | Under Advanced. Turn it on if your database needs it. |
You can paste a connection string instead:
postgres://user:password@host:5432/databaseConnection method
Direct connects to your database over the internet. If it's behind a firewall, add Doram's IP addresses, shown on the connect screen, to its allow-list. SSH tunnel and Private Connector are coming soon.
If your database also serves production traffic, connect Doram to a read replica, not the primary.
